The Mulligan of Forgiveness

Start anew.

Analogy:

A mulligan in disc golf gives you a second chance to make a better throw. Similarly, the gospel offers us forgiveness through Jesus Christ—a second chance to get back on the right course, no matter how far off we’ve strayed.

Expanded Thought: In life, just as in disc golf, we make mistakes. The gospel provides the ultimate mulligan—God’s forgiveness. When we confess our sins, He wipes the slate clean, allowing us to start anew with a clear path ahead.

Scripture Reference: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9, CSB)

Forgiveness is not just received. It is given.
