Eternity. The last thing?
Analogy: The final hole in a disc golf course represents the end of our earthly journey. The gospel assures us that, through faith in Jesus, we can finish strong and secure our place in the ultimate reward—eternal life in heaven.
Expanded Thought: Just as a disc golfer aims to finish the course with a strong final throw, Christians aim to finish life’s race with enduring faith. The gospel promises that those who remain faithful will receive the ultimate reward—eternal life with Christ, a crown of righteousness that will never fade.
Scripture Reference: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. There is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on that day, and not only to me, but to all those who have loved his appearing.” (2 Timothy 4:7-8, CSB)
